Follow the hand that points, the story behind Jihad 141

Pahana Westland sat down at the head of the table. 'Right men,' he said, 'it feels good to be with my military brothers and under such joyful circumstances.' He nodded at Eze and Jonathan and said, 'I'm glad to have you on the team, you owe responsibility only to me and the military command , and you may be assured that I will support all your legitimate acts.' He took a small pause. An uncomfortable pause that made you turn a little in your chair.

He poured himself some coffee and turned to Roy Big, 'just pass me the milk will you and he held out his hand. It was clear, it was unthinkable that he should not be obeyed. 'A new position, demands a new job description see that more as assignments,' continued Westland, 'and assignments require  a transfer of associated information, otherwise you can not function.' The men nodded solemnly. 'We, and I mean we,' and he spread his arms out as if he wanted to include the whole table, have added Judea as a new provisional state of America.'

He took the time to stir his cup thoughtfully. 'That was just an intermediate goal,' the man with the imposing forest of white hair explained. 'The real goal is to disable Isis.'
'That must happen in a radical way,' said the former general 'if you hack away the roots of a plant than the shoots wither.' 'But we can not do that a number of reasons as US, not only do we not want to harm our imago, but for serious reasons that can only be discussed behind closed doors. Am I clear?' Roy Big coughed to get attention and then spoke, 'with all due respect John,' he said, 'I think you have to treat the two new fixers with total openness.' 'Westland coughed and cleared his throat, 'What I'm going to tell you is covered by the secrecy obligation, if you violate that obligation you will be court-martialed, is that clear?' Eze and Jonathan nodded timidly and wondered where the story would lead to.'
'You should know,' the general began, 'it is known to us who has given shape and form to Isis.' 'Then we will eliminate them,' Jonathan had sounded cheerful and combative.' 'You'd better hear me out, Westland responded.

'Isis came into being because of Reagan, Clinton and Barack Obama, their intent was to financially support and arm Jihadists in Syria and Libya to destabilize the Middle East.'
Clinton admitted in 2009 in the congress, that the US government was responsible for creating al-Qaeda, which in a later metamorphosis became Isis. I remember literally what Clinton said.
Pahana Westland put his hands together so that only the fingertips touched and looked into a far distance. 'What was said was: 'The people whom we are fighting, we have funded 20 years ago and we did so because we were involved in a power struggle with the Soviet Union.'

'They invaded Afghanistan and we did not think, at the time, that they should get control over central Asia, and we went to work, it was President Reagan, along with the Congress, led by Democrats, whom said, 'You know what? That sounds like a good idea! Let's deal with the ISI and the Pakistani military, and  let's just incorporate these Mujahedin! Great! Then let some of that clergy coming from Saudi Arabia fly in and teach them the  Wahhabi Islam, and then we will take on the Soviet Union?' 'And you know what,' the old gray man gave Jonathan and Eze a piercing look,' they withdrew and lost billions of dollars, and that led to the disintegration of the Soviet Union. So if you want a good argument, it was not a bad investment to roll up the Soviet Union, but beware, you reap what you sow.

'Clinton was right: al Qaeda was formed by Western intelligence services and was under the influence of the West, beginning with al-Qaeda's predecessors, the Mujahideen of Afghanistan.
In 1979 Mujahideen were America's secret weapon in Operation Cyclone, the CIA Jihadi project to involve soldiers in a war against the USSR.

It was the geopolitical strategist and Clinton supporter, Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was National Security Advisor under President Jimmy Carter, who used the Mujahideen to involve the Soviet Union in an unwinnable war in Afghanistan.

To assist him he U.S. intelligence took on their payrol a mujahedeen fighter, a certain Osama bin Laden was chosen to lead the Afghan resistance against the USSR and gave him the code name "Tim Osman." I remember that, "Mr. Big added.

'He was mainly chosen," Westland explained, 'because his wealthy family was interwoven with the Bush family as long-term business partners in the West.'

The CIA also paid Osama to run a fake 'charity' front called Maktab al-Khidamat which was just a sluice of money to recruit the Mujahideen, and the US government now knows that Maktab was the forerunner of al-Qaeda.'

Decades later, in 2012, Clinton's State Dept. supported al-Qaeda in Iraq, which had been transformed into ISIS, and furthermore she supported other extremistist Islamic groups to oust Syrian President Bashir al-Assad, an ally of Russia and enemies of Saudi Arabia. Saudi is pro-American as you know.'
'The Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood and AQI [Al Qaeda in Iraq] the primary drivers for the unrest in Syria,' revealed a leaked memo from the State Dept. and the Pentagon. 'The West, Gulf countries and Turkey support the opposition where Russia, China and Iran support the Assad regime.'

This secret document confirmed that Clinton's State Dept. - And the Obama administration in general - were directly responsible for the rise of ISIS.

'The former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency,' explained the Pahana, 'was Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, a colleague of mine, he confirmed to me, the authenticity of the document.'
'He literally said, 'it's not that they [the Obama administration] closed their eyes to ISIS] it was a decision taken willingly, they let them go their way.'

'Sometimes things don't go as you want them to go,' Westland said
'Even when we realized the danger of Isis, the political train was still in full momentum to bring down Assad's regime. Therefore, it was still so that in 2014 a $ 1.1 trillion federal spending bill by Congress was passed wich embedded a half-billion dollars to arm Syrian rebels and ISIS-related training groups.

When Isis turned sides and made an alliance with other rebels an equally large payment of $500 million was still made by a delayed political ideal  to a group who felt disconnected from 'old' ideals.
Yet Obama approved; on Oct. 1, 2015, a cargo of automatic weapons that were sent to ISIS-related militants in Syria.'

The old man poured himself some coffee. 'You would think that we are dealing with war and territorial gains or ideological differences in areas of influence. It actually boils down to energy and the free West. Thoughtfulfy he stirred his coffee. 'The reason,' he took up the thread, 'the Obama administration protected Isis and conserves it, is due to another fact.

Assad is working on the construction of a gigantic underground gas network, it is known as the Islamic pipeline with only a connection to Russia and Iran, which will put America's ally Qutar out of the game but also Turkye. It will also make Europe dependent on the "Russian" gas.'

'Well then you have the centuries old  interstate conflict between Sunni and Shia Muslims. Sunni Saudi Arabia, wants Assad's Shias government gone.

'Then you'd have the trillions dollars in gas and oil in Syria, Saudi Arabia could  manage that as a Western puppet put in Syria."

'It is clear to me,' said Jonathan, 'without wanting to, we have created a Frankenstein monster which has spun beyond our control and which is anti-Western and anti-Christian. A monster with its own agenda and a vague cultural story conveying a caliphate and martyrs and the prophet.'

'That is well summarized,' was Westland's opinion. 'What is the mission then, I mean for us,' Ezechïel wanted to know. 'I want a strategic plan that removes ISIS and keeps China offside, and the total destruction of Isis, which will be supported by America but must be initiated by one of our allies.' 'Do we have a free hand,' Jonathan asked? 'Does a monkey eat bananas,' replied the old soldier. 'When do you want the plan,' Eze asked. 'Yesterday,' the Pahana said grimly. 'It's coming,' Jonathan Groove promised, 'Eze and I are going to form a dream team.'
'Good,' laughed Westland, 'you can go now because I want to discuss s few issues with Big. The two men stood up and clicked their heels. 'Is all right,' grumbled,' the old man, 'you can go now.'

[13] See the article by Yotam Rosner, Einav Yogev and Yoram Schweitzer, ” A Report on Suicide Bombings in 2013,” INSS Insight No. 507, January 14, 2014. ( According to the article, in 2013 there were 291 suicide bombing attacks carried out in 18 countries worldwide, causing the deaths of approximately 3,100 people. About 50% of the attacks (148 of the total) were carried out in the Middle East, most of them (98) in Iraq. The data thus indicate that the number of suicide bombing attacks carried out in Iraq during that period was greater than the number carried out in Syria, although international attention focused less on Iraq than on Syria.

[14] For example, on September 11, 2013, a suicide bomber blew himself up at the Shi’ite Tamimi Mosque in a Husseiniya (a Shi’ite social-religious institution). It was carried out in the Shi’ite neighborhood of Al-A’zamiya. Forty Shi’ites were killed and dozens wounded. Despite the fact that ISIS did not claim responsibility for the attack, in ITIC assessment the organization was responsible. On September 21, 2013, a suicide bomber blew himself up in a car bomb in the Shi’ite Baghdad neighborhood of Madinat al-Sadr, killing eight people. In that case as well, ISIS did not claim responsibility but apparently it was nevertheless responsible.

[16] For further information see the September 17, 2013 bulletin “The Al-Nusra Front (Jabhat al-Nusra) is an Al-Qaeda Salafist-jihadi network, prominent in the rebel organizations in Syria. It seeks to overthrow the Assad regime and establish an Islamic Caliphate in Greater Syria, a center for regional and international terrorism and subversion.”

[17] It is sometimes called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). “Greater Syria” seems to be the more correct translation of the term al-sham, which is why the ITIC prefers ISIS and not ISIL.
